Grade 8 - Study your Latin/Greek roots and complete your drawings. Read ten minutes aloud to an adult, and have them sign your reading log. Read Chapter 8 and 9 in Pride and Prejudice. Finish vocabulary 19-24. Answer the following study questions in well-written paragraphs:
Chapter 8: Describe the 19th century lady. Refer to the conversation at Netherfield with Bingley, his sisters, Darcy, and Elizabeth.
Chapter 9: Cite examples of humor in this section as Jane Austen exposes the genteel 19th century woman in search of a husband---or a mother in search of a mate for her daughter.


Grade 9 - Study your Latin/Greek roots. Finish reading Book IV in the Aeneid and answer the rest of the questions on your study question sheet.
