Grade 7 - Study your Latin/Greek roots. Read to page 76 in Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl. Read aloud to an adult, and have them sign your reading log. Answer the following study questions:
1. Jan. 13 – Why does Anne feel herself “fortunate”?
2. Jan. 30 – Why is Anne in such turmoil?
3. Feb. 5 – Does Anne want to be like Margot? Why or why not? Include short quotes in your answer.
4. Mar. 10 – Describe the fighting. What do you think is going on?
Grade 8 - Study your Latin/Greek roots. Read ten minutes aloud to an adult, and have them sign your reading log. Read Chapter 7 in Pride and Prejudice. If you have not already, finish vocabulary 1-18.
Grade 9 - Study your Latin/Greek roots. Begin reading Book IV in the Aeneid and do the first 20 questions on your study question sheet.
